Blazecode docs

A lightweight terminal coding agent. Stream responses, edit with five tools, keep config local.

Install

Linux and macOS. Requires Python 3.11+, curl (or wget), and tar.

$ curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/thealokverse/blazecode/main/install.sh | bash

Installs into ~/.local/share/blazecode and linksblazecode to ~/.local/bin. Config in~/.blazecode is never touched by install or update.

# update (re-run install)

Quick start

blazecode                          # interactive REPL

First launch walks through a provider and writes ~/.blazecode/config.json.

Paths stay inside the working directory. Mutating tools go through the approval gate.

Configuration

Prefer env:VARIABLE for API keys. Project guidance is read fromAGENTS.md, BLAZECODE.md, or README.md.
